In a stunning ruling that’s sending shock waves across the nation, a federal judge has ruled that Obamacare — the deceptively named “Affordable Care Act” — violates the United States Constitution and must be dismantled.
Or just legalize an alternative?
Following a politically disastrous failure to repeal and replace Obamacare earlier this year, reports suggest that House Republicans are “close” to a plan that might pass. We’ll report on this as soon as details become available.
One thing, however, remains abundantly clear: consumer control must be central to any healthcare solution.

Millionaires living in states that expanded Medicaid are benefiting from government-sponsored health insurance, and taxpayers are footing the bill for it.
The Supreme Court ruled yesterday (June 25) in favor of the Obama Administration's current implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), denying claims from challengers that health insurance subsidies were improperly paid for enrollees in states that did not operate their own health insurance exchanges.
That's the logic that a majority of justices utilized after they once again affirmed a critical portion of the Affordable Care Act: namely, that all exchanges, state and federal, are the same, because that's supposedly what Congress meant when crafting the law.
As reported recently by the Daily Mail, the pride of Britain -- it's healthcare system -- is close to total disintegration, and officials who run it have had to cut services "to the bone" in order to keep it afloat. That, they say, will only work for so long.
In a bid to enroll as many Americans as possible for health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act, the administration is going to great lengths, even partnering with churches and other faith-based organizations and publishing sample church bulletin inserts, flyers and scripts filled with propaganda talking points (and with your tax dollars, too).
