10 Foods Sold in the U.S. That Are Banned Elsewhere

Americans are slowly realizing that food sold in the US doesn’t just taste different than foods sold in other countries, it’s created differently. Sadly, many U.S. foods are BANNED in Europe — and for good reason. Take a look at the plummeting health of Americans; what role might toxic foods play in our skyrocketing disease rates?

Biotech giants sue Hawaiian island for passing legislation to restrict GMOs

The "big dogs" in chemical agriculture are on a witch hunt to reverse a bill passed by the Kauai County Council back in November that sets reasonable restrictions on the cultivation of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) on the Hawaiian island. According to the Huffington Post, an unholy trinity represented by DuPont, Syngenta and Agrigenetics Inc. (an affiliate of Dow AgroSciences) has filed a federal lawsuit arguing against Measure 2491, which is intended to set buffer zones between schools and fields sprayed with pesticide, for instance, and requires companies to disclose when and where they are spraying their poisonous concoctions, as well as report genetically modified crops.

Argentinians protest Monsanto as pesticide usage increases rates of birth defects, cancer

Ever since the biotechnology industry first made inroads into South America back in the 1990s, rates of birth defects, cancer and other illnesses have steadily increased, a direct result of pesticides and herbicides being sprayed near residential areas. And one group of mothers from Argentina, known as "Mothers of Ituzaingo," is demanding that the industry's largest player, Monsanto, be removed from the country for the safety of all Argentinians and their children.

Millions against Monsanto: 5 Lessons from the Battle against GMOs

Twenty years after the controversial introduction of unlabeled and untested genetically engineered foods and crops, opposition to GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) and Monsanto has created one of the largest netroots-grassroots movements in the U.S.

Monsanto and GMO lies revealed

In May 2013, two million people in over 50 countries expressed outrage over Monsanto’s desire to own the food supply through genetically-altered (and patented) seeds that threaten all life on this planet. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are when a plant or animal has been genetically engineered with DNA from bacteria, viruses or other plants and animals. Whether you like it or not, you are eating genetically manipulated food without your consent.

Vaccine Danger: Merck is Big Pharma’s Vaccine Monsanto

The pharmaceutical giant Merck enjoys vast revenues if they’re able to advertise and “lobby” politicians to pass laws promoting their vaccinations, even while still paying huge fines and settlements for the toxic aftermath of their other medicinal drugs.

Monsanto Funded Anti-GMO Labeling Campaign Gets Away with Impersonating Govt. Agencies

Misuse of a United States government seal can lead to a $250,000 fine, twenty years in prison, and three years of supervised release — unless you’re a campaign organization funded by major corporations like Monsanto. In a move completely ignored by the mainstream media (many of which have financial ties to such corporations), the anti-GMO labeling No on 37 Committee paid for and disseminated a physical piece of direct mail that not only entirely misused the FDA logo but even sported a fabricated quote.

Monsanto now overriding natural law by attempting to patent multiple common vegetables, fruits

Global biotechnology megalith Monsanto is no longer content with simply manipulating and patenting its own genetically-modified (GM) counterfeits of nature. According to a new petition created by the human rights advocacy group Avaaz, Monsanto is right now attempting to exploit little-known loopholes in European law for the ultimate purpose of patenting common fruits and vegetables that exist naturally in nature - and the president of the European Patent Office (PAO) has apparently given his blessing to this malicious endeavor.
