United Nations threatens Colorado, Washington state over marijuana decriminalization laws


Likely empowered by a U.S. administration that favors the kind of nanny state politics a ruling global entity would no doubt embrace, the head of the United Nations' International Narcotics Control Board feels comfortable telling federal officials they should move to challenge measures in Colorado and Washington that decriminalize possession of small amounts of marijuana for adults 21 and over.

UN ORDERS U.S. TO REPEAL DRUG LAWS


In an unprecedented challenge to American sovereignty, the United Nations has ordered the American states of Colorado and Washington to repeal laws passed by popular referendum legalizing the use of marijuana, claiming that these violate American treaty obligations. The global group has ordered the federal government to use force, if necessary, to bring the two Western states into compliance.

There was an Oath Keepers meeting last week in Colorado, and Tim Norton, our authorized chapter coordinator in the Denver area, had asked my help in expediting a shipment of Oath Keepers brochures and DVDs, which he received just hours before the meeting. Tim is retired U.S. Air Force and is honoring his Oath by organizing Oath Keepers members and activities in central Colorado. Tim’s meeting last week was about the Colorado Sheriffs and their problem with new Colorado gun laws.

In the wake of the brutal shooting spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, that left 28 — including 20 innocent children dead — Americans are searching high and low to make sense of what is indeed, a senseless tragedy.
