Media Blackout: 161 Federal Tax Charges, 0 Convictions:IRS Suffers Staggering Defeat

September 30, 2007 Tax Questions Raised Regarding Gold and Silver Coins Used to Pay Wages Around noon on Monday, September 17th, a Las Vegas federal jury returned its verdict refusing to convict nine defendants of any of the 161 federal tax crimes they had been charged with.  The charges included income tax evasion, willful failure to file and conspiracy to evade taxes.

chew when it sued Bob Schulz and the We The People organizations earlier this year in an effort to shut down "Operation Stop Withholding."  

In the lawsuit, the Government accused WTP of operating an unlawful "abusive tax shelter" in violation of IRC Sections 6700 and 6701, citing the organization's efforts to urge individuals to terminate their W-4 wage and salary withholding agreements.

All organizations concerned about the steady erosion of Freedom in America must coalesce and set joint strategies if we are to compete against the new world order and restore the Constitution.  Until recently, this was an outlier concept, lying away from the operational orientation of many organizations. Today, many leaders of these organizations, by necessity and the realization of our situation, have begun to trumpet the idea.

On Monday, June 26, the U.S. Supreme Court denied a Petition for a Writ of Certiorari that asked the Court to review an order from the Second Circuit Court of Appeals that dismissed WTP Chairman Bob Schulz’s lawsuit against his local county in New York State. The decision by the Supreme Court denied Schulz his Right to Petition for Redress of an admitted constitutional tort perpetrated by the county.
