VIRTUE, DISOBEDIENCE, MORALITY, VICE, HISTORY & JUSTICE

VIRTUE THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR VIRTUE VIRTUE VERSUS VICE King Chieh lacked virtue... If King Chieh was without virtue…what character traits would he have? In my study of OAHSPE I have learned that at the end of a cycle the world leaders are lacking virtue; their orientation is service to self and not service to others, however, they use others in wars to establish THEIR kingdoms by means of WAR, which the God of Earth and the Heavens above has declared he is against. After all, how can the prime directive of The Great Spirit, which is, “Kill nothing, eat no flesh,” be obeyed by world flesh eating warrior leaders if they take their standing armies to war against neighbors? I have also learned that these warrior leaders are sometimes supported in going to war by the warrior members of the leaders council of statesmen elected by the warrior people – everyone of them a flesh-eating, idol worshipping dupe. The opposite of virtue is vice, so let us give some few minutes’ attention to the component character traits of these sinners who disregard the directives of the Creator and owner of all that exists. It’s a given that The Great Spirit has granted liberty to all living, but holds each mortal responsible for choices and decisions made, so there is accountability to consider. What is the fruit of DISOBEDIENCE? Could it be some sort of DEATH? What sort of action do you suppose The Great Spirit might take against warriors against Him? After all, what is Justice for the disobedient son or daughter? Surely there is such a thing as JUSTICE! Yes, there is JUSTICE and it is meted out every three thousand six hundred fifty-six years, on average. *I think JUSTICE will arrive in July 2010. *Note added March 1, 2011: Obviously, I was wrong concerning the arrival date, but, I was correct in the date the metting out of JUSTICE would begin. Java is sinking below the sea and much more such sinking and rearing and ripping of land is to come shortly. Just look a what is happening in New Zealand, Australia and China. I also think Planet Mercury has something to tell us as it makes its next few orbits around the Sun. Oh, the crop circles are presenting details of future events in space that will affect our planet. JUSTICE!!! In the world to come there will be a virtuous people. All we needed to be was a virtuous people, but we became warriors killing our brothers and sisters over dirt and stuff we do not even own. Only the choices and decisions we make and the memories of making them belong to us. It is a permanent record in our permanent soul file. A file chuck full of memories, both the good and the bad. Yes, we own the memories! Indeed, that ownership is JUSTICE. Some day soon each of us will face our memories and evaluate one by one the choices and decisions we made. Then, having considered all of the evidence, we will judge our self by the rules for righteous living that have been taught in every age and place by the Prophets of the Great Spirit. JUSTICE at last! You think? CONSIDER THE INFORMATION THAT FOLLOWS IN THIS ARTICLE. VIRTUE A DEFINITION OF VIRTUE From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtue Virtue (Latin virtus; Greek ρετή) is moral excellence of a person. A virtue is a trait valued as being good. The conceptual opposite of virtue is vice. According to its etymology the word virtue (Latin virtus) signifies manliness or courage. Taken in its widest sense virtue refers to excellence, just as vice, its contrary, denotes the absence of such. In its strictest meaning, however, as used by moral philosophers and theologians, virtue is an operative habit essentially good, as distinguished from vice, an operative habit essentially evil. The four cardinal (hinge) virtues are Justice, Courage, Wisdom, and Moderation. These were enumerated by the Greek philosophers. The three supernatural virtues of Faith, Hope and (unselfish) Love are part of the tradition of Pauline Christianity, Judaism and Islam. Virtue can also be meant in another way. Virtue can either have normative or moral value; i.e. the virtue of a judge is to justly convict criminals, the virtue of an excellent judge is to specialize in justly convicting criminals (this is its normative value) vs. the virtues of reason, prudence, chastity, etc. (which have moral value). In the Greek it is more properly called θικ ρετή (ēthikē aretē). It is "habitual excellence". It is something practiced at all times. The virtue of perseverance is needed for all and any virtue since it is a habit of character and must be used continuously in order for any person to maintain oneself in virtue. However, Friedrich Nietzsche stated that 'when virtue has slept, it will arise all the more vigorous'. Virtues can be placed into a broader context of values. Each individual has a core of underlying values that contribute to our system of beliefs, ideas and/or opinions (see value in semiotics). Integrity in the application of a value ensures its continuity and this continuity separates a value from beliefs, opinion and ideas. In this context a value (e.g., Truth or Equality or Greed) is the core from which we operate or react. Societies have values that are shared among many of the participants in that culture. An individual's values typically are largely, but not entirely, in agreement with their culture's values. Individual virtues can be grouped into one of four categories of values: Ethics (virtue - vice, good - bad, moral - immoral - amoral, right - wrong, permissible - impermissible). Aesthetics (beautiful, ugly, unbalanced, pleasing). Doctrinal (political, ideological, religious or social beliefs and values). Innate/Inborn (inborn values such as reproduction and survival, a controversial category). A value system is the ordered and prioritized set of values (usually of the ethical and doctrinal categories described above) that an individual or society holds. Some virtues (a virtue is a character trait valued as being good) recognized in various Western cultures of the world include: Examples of Virtuous Character Traits, acceptance, altruism, unselfishness, appreciation, assertiveness, attention, focus, autonomy, awareness, balance, being beautiful in spirit, benevolence, charity, chastity, cleanliness, commitment, compassion, confidence, consciousness, consideration, continence, cooperativeness, courage, courteousness, creativity, critical thinking, cunning, curiosity, dependability, detachment, determination, diligence, discipline, empathy, endurance, enthusiasm, equanimity, equity, excellence, fairness, faith, fidelity, fitness, flexibility, foresight, forgiveness, fortitude, free will, freedom, friendliness, generosity, happiness, health, health-minded, helpfulness, honesty, truthfulness, honor, hopefulness, hospitality, humility, humor, idealism, imagination, impartiality, independence, innocence, integrity, intuition, inventiveness, joy, justice, kindness, lovingness, loyalty, manners, mercy, moderation, modesty, morality, nonviolence, nurturing, obedience, openness, optimism, patience, peacefulness, perfection, perseverance, philanthropy, philomathy, piety, potential, prudence, purity, purposefulness, respectfulness, moral responsibility, social responsibility, restraint, self-awareness, self-confidence, self-discipline, self-esteem, self-reliance, self-respect, sensitivity, sharing, sincerity, spirituality, strength, sympathy, tactfulness, temperance, tenacity, thankfulness, tolerance, trustworthiness, truth, understanding, wisdom. Four Classic Western Virtues Cardinal virtues The four classic Western cardinal virtues are: Temperance : σωφροσύνη (sōphrosynē) Prudence : φρόνησις (phronēsis) Fortitude : ανδρεία (andreia) Justice : δικαιοσύνη (dikaiosynē) This enumeration is traced to Greek philosophy, and was listed at least by Plato, if not also by Socrates, from whom no attributable written works exist. Plato also mentions "Holiness." It is likely that Plato believed that virtue was, in fact, a single thing, and that this enumeration was created by others in order to better define virtue. In Protagoras and Meno, he states that the separate virtues cannot exist independently, and offers as evidence the contradictions of acting with wisdom (prudence), yet in an unjust way, or acting with bravery (fortitude), yet without wisdom (prudence). VICE ADEFINITION OF VICE From the Wikipedia free encyclopedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vice Vice is a practice or habit that is considered immoral, depraved, and/or degrading in the associated society. In more minor usage, vice can refer to a fault, a defect, an infirmity, or merely a bad habit. Synonyms for vice include fault, depravity, sin, iniquity, wickedness and corruption. The modern Spanish term that best captures its original meaning is the word vicious, which means "full of vice." In this sense, the word vice comes from the Latin word vitium, meaning "failing or defect". Vice is the opposite of virtue. Vice is also a generic legal term for criminal offenses involving prostitution, lewdness, lasciviousness, and obscenity. Illegal forms of gambling are also often included as a vice in law enforcement departments that deal with gambling as a crime. Contents Overview of religious views on vice, 2 Examples of vices, 3 popular usages. Overview of religious views on vice. One way of organizing the vices is as the corruption of the virtues. A virtue can be corrupted by nonuse, misuse, or overuse. Thus the cardinal vices would be lust (nonuse of temperance), cowardice (nonuse of courage), folly (misuse of a virtue, opposite of wisdom), and venality (nonuse of justice). Examples of Vices Some vices recognized in various cultures of the world include: absent-mindedness, addiction, aggression, alcoholism, animosity, antagonism, apathy, bigotry, bitterness, callousness, caprice, carelessness, child sacrifice, cowardice, corruption, cruelty, denial, dependence, despair, diffidence, dishonesty, dishonor, disobedience, disrespectfulness, drunkenness, excess, favoritism, filthiness, flippancy, flightiness, foolishness, greed, hatred, hostility, homosexuality, ignorance, inconstancy, indecision, indifference, indolence, indulgence, inequality, infidelity, ingratitude, injustice, insincerity. intemperance, immodesty, immorality, impatience, impiety, improvidence, irresponsibility, irreverence, laziness, lewdness, licentiousness, light-mindedness, malevolence, malice, misanthropy, misogyny, moral relativism, negativity, officiousness, paranoia ,parasitism, passivity, permissiveness, perversion, pessimism, poor judgment, pornography, prejudice, presumptuousness, pride(hubris), procrastination, promiscuity, purposelessness, rashness, rudeness, ruthlessness, secretiveness, self-degradation, selfishness, sensuality, shortsightedness, slackness, slavery, suppression, stinginess, stubbornness, stupidity, tactlessness, treachery, unfairness, un-forgiveness, unkindness, unscrupulousness, un-sophistication, vanity, violence, wantonness. POPULAR USAGE The term vice is also popularly applied to various activities considered immoral by some; a list of these might include the use of alcohol and other recreational drugs, gambling, smoking, recklessness, cheating, lying, selfishness. It is also used in reference to police vice units who prosecute crimes associated with these activities. Often, vice particularly designates a failure to comply with the sexual mores of the time and place such as sexual promiscuity. Behaviors or attitudes going against the established virtues of the culture may also be called vices: for instance, effeminacy is considered a vice in a culture espousing masculinity as an essential element of the character of males. FROM THE CONSTANTINE BIBLE From The New Testament Synoptic Gospels and Epistles In the Gospel of Mark, Chapter 5, verses 21-43 is the story of Jesus raising from the dead the daughter of a temple ruler and the faith of a woman who touched the hem of his garment and was cured of an issue she had suffered twelve years. In the text, verse 30, read the following concerning virtue, “And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press (of the crowd), and said, “Who touched me? In the Gospel of Saint Luke, Chapter 6, verse 19 we are told, “And the whole multitude sought to touch him; for there went virtue out of him, and he healed them all.” In the Epistle of Paul to the Philippians, Chapter 4, verses 8 & 9, in concluding his letter said, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report: if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which you have both learned and received and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” In the Second Epistle of Saint Peter, Chapter 1, verses 2 thru 5, Simon Peter said to the recipient, “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust, and beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue: and to virtue knowledge: and to knowledge temperance: and to temperance patience: and to patience godliness: and to godliness brotherly kindness: and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged of his old sins.” Of all the verses in the New Testament, having been a Paulianist, I love the verse of advice and admonition in The Epistle of Paul to the Thessalonians, Chapter 3, verse 13b, encouraging the brethren in Thessalonica to preserve in working for the food they ate: “But ye, brethren, weary not in well going.” The same verse is rendered “Do not grow weary in well doing.” The section on Fatigue (684g) of Roget Thesaurus of the Bible, A Colon Day, 1992, HarperSanFrancico, a Division of HarperCollins Publishers. From the Old Testament Scriptures In the Book of Proverbs, Chapter 12, verses 4 – 5, we learn that, “A virtuous women is like a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.” And in Proverbs, Chapter 31 are the words of King Lemuel and this question in verse 10, “Who can find a virtuous woman? for her value is far above rubies.” Then, in verses 11 – 31, the king lists the traits of such a woman and her reward. In the book of Ruth there is the story of the matchmaker Naomi, her widowed daughter in law Ruth and their near kinsman Boaz, who said to Ruth (in Chapter 3, verse 11), “for all the city of my people doth know that thou art a virtuous woman.” And Boaz bought the right of near kinsman from a closer kinsman, who remains unknown to us to this day, one that sold his right to take as his wife a virtuous woman, and Boaz married Ruth. It is a story of good people doing the right thing the right way. ZetaTalk: Zhuge Liang, written Aug 4, 2006 http://www.zetatalk.com/index/zeta309.htm Zhuge Liang wrote a set of Prophecy in the form of poems, 20 or more poems. The 15th poem wrote about the sudden rise of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the last sentence of that poem clearly refers that in 2005 the CCP will meet a great debacle. In fact, it was in the spring of 2005 that a book 'Nine comments on CCP' was released and caused a trend in China to resign from the CCP. Now there has been over a hundred million former party members resigned. So the poems have a track record. In the 16th poem Zhuge Liang wrote that the world will face a great danger. The red flood will destroy the land and many people will die. At this time a saint will emerge and lead people to overcome the hardship. Finally China will be a land of light and love. Since his prophecy indicated the demise of CCP, any information referring to his prophecy has been blocked in China. The poems after the one that described the pole shift talk about a kind of transformation process that China will enter, a new kind of era. The 18th and 19th mainly describe that after the saint's salvation, all different kinds of people, all different races of people will get rid of any misunderstandings or obstacles and unite with each other. The whole world will become one. People will not care too much about fame or individual interests. The saints or holy people will get off the stage and won't let people worship them. All the lands in the world will enjoy light and love. I sense that in Zetatalk, most information is largely about the US and the western world. So I hope the Zeta can comment on the Eastern Prophecy and give more concern about the Eastern world. Ma Qian Ke In almost every culture, there is folklore and prophecy to warn about the coming changes, what the Christians call the End Time. Revelations points to red dust and mountains being moved. Islam points to a prophesied 6 days when the Sun will seem to rise from the West. And quite outside of organized religion are the prophets in almost every tongue and backwater and island chain who have described what to look for, signs in the skies, and what these signs will lead to? ZetaTalk: Dragon's Claw, written Mar 9, 2006 In the twenty-ninth year of King Chieh [the last ruler of Hsia, the earliest recorded Chinese dynasty], the Sun was dimmed... King Chieh lacked virtue... the Sun was distressed... during the last years of Chieh ice formed in [summer] mornings and frosts in the sixth month [July]. Heavy rainfall toppled temples and buildings... Heaven gave severe orders. The Sun and Moon were untimely. Hot and cold weather arrived in disorder. The five cereal crops withered and died. Written during the reign of Emperor Qin c.1600 B.C. China has great history, much of it lost in past pole shifts. There are on occasion discovered great cities, or pyramids, burried and forgotten. Record keeping in Egypt suffered in the same manner. For hundreds of years, survivors are discombobulated, wandering, starving, half mad, and keeping records the least of their concerns. No one knows why the Great Pyramids of Egypt were built, as they certainly were not burial vaults. How could such information be lost? Thus it was with the great cities of China, as the Chinese people have not just recently come to benefit from their native intelligence and steadfast work ethic. They were great before, immensely so. Ideally, the records would be intact and shared with the common man. Has this been the case in Western civilizations? The Kolbrin, a record of past pole shifts from Egypt, was hidden in Scotland and spirited away to New Zealand when the church hiearchy tried to burn the Kolbrin entirely. Does the Catholic church share what they know with their flock? They lie. At the present time, heads of state around the world have been alerted that there is a presence in the inner solar system, with contries such as the US and Russia and France and China nervously watching the interloper Planet X with all the technology at their disposal. Has the public heard about this? Not from these officials! Because of lost records, and the desire of leaders to mis-lead their people about what is to come, prophets and mirages have emerged to fill this void. Zhuge Liang was not a mere mortal, which should come as no surprise among those familiar with his accomplishments. He was studious and intellectual, but also a great warrior and a natural leader of men. For a prophet to be taken seriously, they need a strong track record or some other boost in fame that keeps they from fading from view. Edgar Cayce is remembered in the West because he was a great healer and had insights into diseases that the doctors were unable to grasp. Were it not for this, his predictions on the coming pole shift, the signs to look for, might have been lost. In like manner Zhuge Liang stood tall, in legend, his words respected and recalled. His message was more than a warning about the coming pole shift, the red dust and incessant rains, which he termed a red flood. It was more than a warning to expect much death and hardship during these tumultuous times. He delivered a message of hope! One does not deliver the devastating news without explaining the outcome. His description of times of light and love, when men will stop fighting because of greed or the desire for power, but will instead support and love one another, is an exact description of what we have termed the transformation! That he devoted more time to describing the future, and scant time to describing the current Chinese Communist Party and the time of the pole shift, speaks volumes. He is saying, in essence, that this is what the Chinese people should focus on, the future, the time when those operating in the Service-to-Other will prevail. Zhuge Liang predicts a saint, a natural leader who will emerge during the time of the pole shift. This was a logical guess, based on what he knew of the Chinese people and politics. He knew the Chinese people well. He understood that their ability to work in consensus with one another would put them into a government that would approximate Communism. He understood how corruption emerges in these settings, and that a dictator would likely emerge. The insights he gained during his life as Zhuge Liang were augmented by what he brought forward from past lives in China. In a past life, he had been close enough to the Dynasty leaders to see their reactions during a pole shift, and knew there would be a repeat performance during the coming shift. We have often stated that the official leadership will collapse during the times ahead, for many reasons. Cowards often strut around proclaiming their courage, as the current leadership in the White House exemplifies. Bush and Cheney and Rove, all avoiding duty in the Viet Nam era. It is the self focused and power hungry who claw their way to the top, by fraud and theft and intimidation and bribery and back stabbing. They will have no answers for the common man during the coming times, and will go into well stocked bunkers to save themselves. There with bedmates like themselves, the worst moral lot, without ethics or concern for each other and each power mad to become the top dog, they will essentially destroy each other in savage battles. Meanwhile, there stands the citizenry, without leadership. Natural leaders emerge, of a different moral fiber, and it is this that Zhuge Liang speaks about. Mail this Page to a Friend. ZetaTalk: GodlikeProduction Live written Oct 21, 2006 on the live GodlikeProduction live chat. http://www.zetatalk.com/index/zeta331.htm Could the Zetas comment on why Condi was so visibly shaken during her recent press conference? Things are not happy in the Bush camp. Condi is a weak person, requiring extreme structure in her life, not giving control to others but demanding a strict routine and known rules. She is not constitutionally, nor by virtue of her indwelling soul, suited for politics! As long as the Bush camp seemed to be running the world, all was well, but now that they are loosing, she is, shall we say, loosing it! She cannot operate in the gray area, finds foreign dignitaries making fun of her or refusing to meet with her or take her seriously, and stomping her little foot does not repair this. Depression and befuddlement follows. Read beyond her befuddlement to see what must be going on in the Bush camp. QUESTION. Are we at the end of the cycle, the end of the age. The end of the world as we know it? ANSWER: The signs tell that we are and the recent crop circles in South Korea speak of Justice in a coming trimester of time. The next trimester will begin August 1, 2008. CLOSING REMARKS It’s a given that The Great Spirit has granted liberty to all living, but holds each mortal responsible for choices and decisions made, so there is accountability to consider. Yes, there is JUSTICE and it is meted out every three thousand six hundred fifty-six years, on average. I think JUSTICE will arrive in July 2010. However, it may be meted out to mankind much sooner. I also think Planet Mercury has something to tell us as it makes its next few orbits around the Sun. Oh, the crop circles are presenting details of future events in space that will affect our planet. JUSTICE at last! You think? I believe all that is needed to be without concern about heavenly punishment is to be a virtuous person dwelling in a righteous nation. All that is needed is personal virtue and good deeds done for others. The purpose for students in schoolhouse Earth is to make the orientation choice to be Service to Others (STO) at least fifty percent of the time. Actually, to live by the Golden Rule, a person should have a concern for others every time a choice or decision is made and look far beyond the current moment as to what the impact of the choice or decision will have on self and others. Will it lift self and others into Light or cause darkness and disobedience?
