My 2 cents on this spirituality thread

by Sir Eliezer Ben-Joseph

My quick 2 cents on this spirituality thread.  I, too, have been a student of the many schools of personal growth for many years, sometimes too growthed out for my own good.  What I have observed from my teachings is a common mistake that students continuously make and that is to confuse those laws and principles that only exist in the law of absolutism with those that exist in the law of duality.

The concept of total oneness where all things are connected by the frequency of our own vibration and how it resonates with others, thereby making us all responsible for whatever happens to us, only exists in the law of absolutism.  In other words how the entire universe interacts with itself on a sub-atomic quantum level and everything effects everything is true.  Yes all things are connected and affect all other things no matter the distance, yet at the same time we who live on this planet must follow the laws of physics that also simultaneously exsists in duality.

The law of duality, with which we all live no matter what our belief system, controls most of our lives.  To be the witness and move beyond judgment (the first rung on the ladder) does not negate this duality.  Good and evil, right and wrong, victim and oppressor are aspects that affect us all.  That child that is raped is a victim of evil and, at the same time under the law of absolutism, drew this lesson to itself for whatever reason only to be fathomed by God.   For us to speak of the brutality of the rape in the same breath as with "we create our own reality" does a great injustice to the child, or woman, that suffers such abuse.   The end result of giving this information, that we are all one, without being asked, ignores the pain of the oppressed and only creates resentment.
